Analysis of Current Issues in Bitung Municipality 2025

The Human Development Index (HDI) is an indicator of a society's achievement in quality of life, compiled based on three basic dimensions: longevity and good health, knowledge, and a decent standard of living. The longevity and good health dimension is represented by life expectancy at birth. The knowledge dimension is represented by years of schooling and average years of schooling, while the decent standard of living dimension is represented by per capita expenditure.This publication contains an overview, methodology, and developments in the Human Development Index in Bitung Municipality, including improvements in basic capabilities, and human development gaps from various aspects. It is hoped that this publication will provide an overview of human development in Bitung Municipality and can be used as a reference in implementing and evaluating future human development policies.
